One female was taken to the hospital and another female was taken into police custody following a stabbing on the city’s west side on Thursday afternoon.

Natacha Feliciano-Adorno, 23, of Erie, was arraigned by Erie 2nd Ward District Judge Paul Urbaniak on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and possessing instruments of crime.

Feliciano-Adorno was placed in the Erie County Prison on $50,000 bond.

The stabbing was reported Thursday at about 2:20 p.m. in the 300 block of West 20th Street. Erie police officers were in the neighborhood investigating another incident when they witnessed a woman stab another woman in the upper leg, according to police at the scene.

The woman who was stabbed was taken by EmergyCare to the hospital for treatment of a stab wound to her thigh.

The woman who stabbed her was taken into custody and was brought to the Erie police station.
