A woman suspected of driving drunk with three children in the vehicle and of supplying a fourth child with alcohol was charged Monday.

Valena Dawn Blackeagle, 31, was charged in Yellowstone County Justice Court with three counts of felony criminal child endangerment, misdemeanor unlawful transactions with children and misdemeanor driving without insurance.

Justice of the Peace Pedro Hernandez held Blackeagle in lieu of a $2,500 bond and ordered her placed on alcohol monitoring should she be released.

According to charging documents, Blackeagle was pulled over by a Montana Highway Patrol trooper for speeding Friday while she was eastbound on U.S. Highway 87. The trooper conducted sobriety field tests and determined Blackeagle was under the influence of alcohol.

Blackeagle had three children in the back of the car at the time, ages 6, 8 and 10. A 15-year-old boy in the passenger seat was taken to a hospital to be treated for for alcohol poisoning, according to court documents.
