Information collected by investigators suggests that an Albion woman who was reported missing in Lake Erie on Sunday disappeared a day earlier while on a boat with her husband, who has been charged with killing her.

Christopher S. Leclair, 48, who is charged with criminal homicide in the death of his wife, 51-year-old Karen Leclair, radioed the U.S. Coast Guard on Sunday at about 1:40 p.m. and reported that his wife had fallen overboard while both were on their 52-foot commercial fishing boat.
