Two Erie men are wanted on attempted homicide and other charges in two recent shootings in the city.
Arrest warrants have been issued for 38-year-old Robert S. Sanders in a shooting in the 2000 block of West Eighth Street on the early morning of Aug. 16; and for 29-year-old Shatwan A. Glover in a shooting in the 1300 block of East 10th Street early Friday morning. No one was reported injured in either shooting.
Sanders faces charges including two felony counts of attempted homicide, four felony counts of aggravated assault and one felony count each of carrying a firearm without a license and person not to possess a firearm in the Aug. 16 shooting. Investigators charge that Sanders was the person captured on high-definition surveillance video from a nearby nightclub chasing after two males and firing gunshots at them.
Officers who responded to the shooting found 12 shell casings and blue paint chips that suggested a vehicle the two male victims were seen running to was struck by bullets, according to investigators and information in the criminal complaint.
