State drug investigators have charged two California residents in an investigation involving large quantities of suspected marijuana and suspected THC that centered in Erie on Tuesday.

Burbank, California, residents William Larsen, 33, and Yesenia Arriaga, 28, were arraigned Tuesday night by Erie 3rd Ward District Judge Tom Carney on felony counts of possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy, and on misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, that were filed on Tuesday. Carney set bond at $100,000 for Larsen and 10 percent of $100,000 for Arriaga.

Larsen and Arriaga are accused of possessing with intent to deliver 84 pounds of suspected marijuana and approximately 1,200 vape cartridges filled with a liquid containing suspected THC, according to information in the criminal complaints filed by an agent with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation and Drug Control.
