A man accused of masturbating on the New York City subway was chased off the train in an incident that was caught on camera.
Deanna Carter posted a clip to Facebook showing a man holding a backpack on his lap and looking extremely uncomfortable while she berated him.

“What are you doing? What are you, over here rubbing your dick? What the fuck are you doing?” Carter said on what the New York Post described as a Bronx-bound 2 train.
Then, she ordered him to get off the train and threatened to attack him.
“You wanna rub your dick, bitch, you rub your dick when you get off the motherfucking train,” she said. “Do we fucking understand each other? I’m in one of those moods. I will fuck you up on this train, you hear me?”
The man shifted uncomfortably as Carter yelled at him, and if he said anything at all it couldn’t be heard.
“I don’t give a fuck if this ain’t your stop. You get off this train with that freaky shit. Get up ― get the fuck up, get the fuck off this train.”
The man complied and departed at the next stop.
Carter wrote in a followup message that passengers on the train applauded her actions.
Sexual offenses on the city’s subway system have been an ongoing problem, especially for women, and it may be getting worse. According to The New York Times, reports of sexual offenses jumped by more than 50 percent over the last year.
Police told the newspaper that the increase may be due to a campaign encouraging more women to report these crimes rather than an actual rise in the number of incidents, but some officials were unconvinced.
“This is completely unacceptable,” New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) wrote in a letter to MTA Chairman Thomas Prendergast, according to Fortune. “We cannot and will not allow these crimes to persist.”
