A man, who has been wanted in Pennsylvania since 2011, was caught in Stuart earlier this week by Martin County Sheriff’s deputies and U.S. Marshals.

Joshua Yuhas, 31, was said to be living on Darling Street near Stuart. He was captured by deputies after he attempted to run and ended up jumping into a pond, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office reports. Yuhas has been wanted in Kingston, Pa., since 2011 when authorities said he was arrested in the robbery of a convenient store clerk.

According to authorities, Yuhas and another person were attempting to buy cigarettes from the convenient store in 2010 when they became angry over their credit card being declined. The duo jumped over the counter and beat the clerk before leaving with 26 stolen cartons of cigarettes and causing $15,000 in damage to the store.
