The Erie Bureau of Police obtained surveillance video of a man accused of shooting two other men in a westside neighborhood on Saturday morning and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

The suspect is a black male in his 40s, and he was seen inside the Ultra View Lounge at 901 W. Fourth St. before investigators charge that he went outside and shot a 23-year-old man and a 30-year-old man in the 800 block of West Fourth Street on Saturday at about 3:10 a.m. The victims, whose names have not been released, were taken to UPMC Hamot for treatment of serious injuries, police reported. Updated information on their conditions was not available Friday morning.

Investigators said earlier this week that the victims and the suspect were inside the Ultra View earlier that morning. No fights had broken out inside the tavern before the shooting, and the victims and the suspect had no interaction before they went outside, Erie police Detective Sean Bogart said Monday.

The surveillance video that captured images of the suspect came from the Ultra View, Bogart said Thursday. He said the owners of the tavern are cooperating in the investigation and provided surveillance video of the entire incident.

Erie police have also released images of a woman whom they said is a person of interest in the case and are looking for help in identifying her. She is a white female in her 30s who has a large portrait tattoo on her right chest area, Bogart said.

Anyone with information that could assist detectives in identifying the suspect and the woman is asked to contact Bogart at 870-1191, Detective Matthew Berarducci at 870-1221 or Lt. Jon Peters at 870-1159.
