An Erie man charged in a drug investigation involving the search of an eastside apartment and the recovery of a stolen gun in October was held for court in the case on Wednesday.

Ramon H. Green, 26, was held for court on charges including possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property following his preliminary hearing before Erie 5th Ward District Judge Paul Bizzarro on Wednesday. Green remains in the Erie County Prison on $150,000 bond.

Erie police charge that suspected heroin and a gun stolen from a Millcreek Township residence were found in an East 21st Street apartment when detectives searched it as part of an investigation into suspected drug sales on Oct. 24. The investigation stemmed from two recent drug overdoses in the city, according to investigators.

The recovered gun was one of seven taken from a Millcreek residence on Oct. 21, according to Millcreek police. Township police continue to investigate the thefts.
